On changing ownership of real estate or other facility, a new owner shall submit a certificate of ownership and application to a local service center of the distribution licensee.
While temporary use of real estate (renting real estate), in case of written consent of the property owner, the lessee is entitled to request registration as a temporary customer.
By updating customer’s data while purchasing or renting real estate, new owner minimizes the risks of existence of old or current debts associated with the real estate, which in turn prevents termination of natural gas supply and arising of disputes with the gas distribution company.
By updating customer’s data while selling a real estate, the old owner shall not be liable for accumulation of debts associated with the real estate and is released from any liability arising from disputes with the gas distribution company.
